It is heard there are altogether 18 kinds of weapon in popular use in ancient China. Can you provide more details? Any information would be well appreciated!
Yes, it is a very popular saying in ancient China. People often go to praise someone of his artistry in kungfu performance, saying "his excellent mastery of 18 kinds of weapons." In fact, as the time elapse, the weapons it means also change. For better understanding the weapon family memebers here I attach two pictures.

Hey all guys here.I am new here and am a NFL fan.My name is Wallace.Nice to meet you.
way too many if u give a certain timeline or what kind of weapons then it would be easier but asking how many types is like going back from the bullshit gun in the 1300s to modern day m4 assault rifle
Hey all guys here.I am new here,,,,
well my preferred is 2 b-swords or glads (i use b-swords) fully upgraded on watever path you take, and a 2-hand sword (egoed or not) i use a dragon blade. But for certain situations i switch out the duel wields for a hammer/mace and a shield I use a kite shield and warhammer
very nice information,.....
about 18 kinds of weapon all are looking nice and dangerous,...
Well, I think that was the main reason why the Chinese could not adapt to weapon fighting as much as the Japanese did. If you look in closely, this diversity of weapons are theoretical more than practical. No one could carry these weapons in the crowd and even if they did they were hard to take it. The Japanese on the other hand, did it with perfection and style with no fancy feeling which came out to be known as the “Katana”
If u accord a assertive timeline or what affectionate of weapons again it would be easier but allurement how abounding types is like traveling aback from the babble gun in the 1300s to avant-garde day m4 advance rifle.
Nice one.!
