Ba Gua Chang and I Ching
I respectfully ask this question to help further my knowledge and training in bagua zhang There is, supposedly, a relationship between the hexagrams of the I ching and the fighting principles of bagua zhang. I don't know how the relationship categorizes a full understanding of fighting techniques, but it supposedly does. So, far in my training I can not find an instructor that could tell me specifically how this works. any information you can find will certainly be appreciated. there are just too many holes in my bagua educaion. Sincerly. From Binghamton NY

Many very respectable teachers say there is not. however, since you are in the US, if you look at John Bracy's book, he and his teacher Liu xinghan say that there is. I dont know much about Liu (I think he passed away now anyway) but John Bracy is seriously good. By far I think the best western Bagua practitioner, both with respect to technique and with respect to understanding.
